area

disillusioned

They

felt

sting

legalism
with
its
impossible
demands.
Some

seen
hypocrisy.
Others
have
had
no
religious
background
and
therefore
see
Christianity
as

stuffy
place
with
the
tall
steeple
and
musty-smelling
song
books,
think
again.
Real
church
has
never
been
about
a
building
or
place.
It’s
all
about
the
people.
So
why
can’t
a
bunch
of
people
gather
in
Swank’s
Jazz
Restaurant
and
Bar
-
the
coolest
venue
in
Blount
County
- to
have
church?
Yeah…
we
couldn’t
think
of a
reason
either.
So
let’s
do
it!
Join

To put it
simply...we
are a
Bible-believing
church. We
believe that
the Bible is
authoritative
and inerrant
in it's
original
form.
We are a
part of the
Vineyard USA,
an
association
of Vineyard
churches.
The Vineyard
considers
itself to be
an
Evangelical
movement. In
other words,
we could
recite the
Nicene Creed
and the
Apostle's
Creed
without
blushing |

Who
We
Are
Our
church
is a
community
of
believers
with
Jesus
Christ
as
its
head.
We
seek
to
love,
respect
and
care
for
one
another
as a
demonstration
of
our
love
for
God,
and
to
do
so
in a
way
that
is
real,
relaxed,
relational,
relevant,
and
reaching.
Our
outreach
is
to

people

Jesus

about...by
striving
to
be
about
the
same
things
ourselves.
Just
like
everybody
else,
we're
sick
and
tired
of
pretense
and
self-righteousness.
So
we're
intentional
about
shedding
all
those
layers
and
embracing
simplicity,
and
authenticity.
We
strive
to
be a
great
commission
